Trina Storage Ranked in CNESA Top 10 for Global Shipments of Chinese ESS Integrators in H1 2025
2025.08.27

Shanghai, China — August 27, 2025 — Trina Storage has been listed in the Top 10 for H1 2025 global shipments of Chinese energy storage system integrators by the China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA). The recognition highlights Trina Storage's strong performance in international deliveries and its growing influence on the global energy storage sector.

This achievement is underpinned by Trina Storage's capability spanning the entire value chain — from battery cell manufacturing to containerized systems, power conversion, medium-voltage integration, and AC-side delivery. By integrating each step of the process, the company ensures system reliability, efficient project execution, and long-term bankability for utility-scale customers.

Trina Storage continues to strengthen its footprint in key international markets with multi-gigawatt-hour (GWh) level projects under construction and delivery. In North America, nearly 1 GWh of utility-scale systems has already been delivered, underscoring the company's ability to meet demand in one of the world's most competitive storage markets. In Europe, Trina Storage has established strategic partnerships to support the rollout of multi-GWh projects in the coming years.

In Latin America, the company recently shipped a 1.2 GWh system, marking its largest single-site delivery in the region to date. Across Asia-Pacific, more than 2.4 GWh of projects are under construction in Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. Meanwhile, in the Middle East and Africa, Trina Storage systems have supported the commissioning of new grid-scale assets, further extending its presence in emerging markets.

By the end of 2024, the company had shipped a cumulative 10 GWh worldwide, and it expects to maintain strong momentum in 2025 with an additional 8 to 10 GWh of deliveries.

“Being recognized by CNESA for our AC-side system shipments demonstrates the strength of our global execution and the value of our integrated cell-to-AC capability,” said Yang Bao, President of Energy Storage Division at Trinasolar. “As large-scale energy storage continues to expand worldwide, we remain committed to delivering reliable, cost-efficient, and scalable solutions that accelerate the clean energy transition.”
